My laptop battery ran out of life one day and after plugging it in and trying to restart the computer the only thing that came on were the keyboard lights. I can not get the hard drive or dvd drive or anything else to work. This has happened before where I can not get it to powere up but usually if I take the battery out and replace it, it fixes the problem. Has anyone seen anything like this? There is no reason that this should be happening. It was working great before the battery died.
