Good question. I took a look around and couldn't find much on the release date. The only common things I saw were "sometime in 2011."

I think you're going to be dissapointed. I've heard numbers closer to $4-5K.
I'm using an older VX2s and it was $3K 3 years ago. I'm ready for an upgrade and my IT manager has been in touch with ASUS directly for over a month. He discovered this notebook is using the latest chipset from intel that has suffered a major recall. Does not look like any of these will hit the street before Summer 2011 tat best.
