Solved! Alienware M17x R2 question

I can get a good deal on M17X R2 with an I5 520m with 4 gb ram and a single 5870, what kind of performance on games would I get.. games like COD Black ops and BF BC2 etc... compared to an I7 740qm with same specs

If the only difference is the CPUs,then you won't see a notable difference in almost all games because most games are GPU limited.(However,in titles like GTA IV,Prototype,WIC Etc. 740QM performs better)
