Sony viao laptop black screen

my sony viao laptop when it is powered on will show the vaio logo then the windows 7 loading screen then it will just turn black with a _ blinking and thats it.. when i hold f10 it will bring me to the system recovery and i did system restore and nothing.. i went in to the bios and nothing helped theere.. i was able to do a disk diagnostic and it said all the HDD were running fine..

I'm having the same problem. Looked in about 40 different places around the web already, no solution that works. I'm starting to think the only way this problem is going to be fixed is to just recover all the files with vaio care rescue and then just format everything. Sucks.
