Solved! What happens if a power cord sparks at me

Hello,

my power cord has just spaked at me when i tried to plug my laptop charger in to a powerpoint. is it safe to turn the powerpint off and then plug it in a little more?? because when i plugged it in the powerpint was still on. HELP!

Yes, that should be OK. It needs to be plugged in as much as you can, so you can not see the prongs anymore. That's when you know it is plugged in well. Same goes for any electrical appliance. A laptop is protected by it's power brick.
If it does repeatedly, you might want to have that wall socket checked out. You don't want an electrical short/fire there...
