Hello,
My Blu Ray Drive doesnt play Dvds anymore....when i put it in the notebook just does a sound like hes trying to read it and never ends...hes fine with audio cds,cant try with blu rays since i havent got a single one here
i already tried upper/lower filter thing,i cant find any firmware updates or sth
can you help me?

What's the brand/model of your laptop? We can take a look around for a firmware update to see if that is the issue. Otherwise, I suspect that it may be a laser failure or something else on the drive itself.

Was it listed on the above-mentioned link? If so, did it correct the issue for you?

i doubt its firmware - it *was* working and now its not? hardware failure - moving parts etc, the firmware has not otherwise changed.

warranty or buy a replacement (ebay)
