I just redeployed a laptop (had to re-image it), which has a dock. Problem is when the laptop is plugged into the dock it siwtches the display to the external monitor as it should but it the only resolution choices are 800x600 or 1024x768. This is a 19" widescreen which supports 1440x900. It worked fine yesterday but it doesnt work anymore. It also worked fine before reimaging. The laptop is a HP Elitebook 6930p, running Windows XP Pro.

Any ideas on on to fix it, or where to look. I tried loading the monitors drivers and upgrading the Intel GMA with no change.

The monitor itself might have drivers that need to be loaded. Though that is a particularly common size monitor. I found with XP on some of my desktop machines, they were not able to use certain dell 24" monitors correctly until I hunted down the drivers for the monitor and installed them on the PC. Perhaps it had something like that installed before you re-imaged it.
