in my laptop tech information say that my monitor is "high-brightness" what is this, led ot not?!

If it doesn't specifically say it has LED back lighting then it is most likely to have a cold cathode fluorescent backlight.

You should have specified the make and model of laptop as it may help us provide you with an exact answer instead of us guessing at what the answer might be.
