1_What is your budget?

preferably wouldnt want to go above $1500

2_What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

15.6 " i really dont mind dont want a tiny screen, something good for gaming?

3_What screen resolution do you want?

1366x768 appears to be standard with 15.6"

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

I plan on having it plugged in almost the entire time,

5_How much battery life do you need?

It will be plugged in pretty much all the time

6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low, Medium or High)?

the main purpose for this is so i can run call of duty world at war

7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? mainly gaming and internet use really

8_How much storage (H.D.D Capacity) do you need?

250 GB is the lowest I think most laptops have these days. I'm not too concerned with it as I plan on getting a networked 1TB drive eventually. Of course, 320+ GB and 7200 RPM HDD would be great, but only if it just happens to come with a laptop that already has the other requirements. 5400 - 7200 RPM doesn't make a huge difference for things does it?

9_If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post the links to them.

nop, id prefer not a dell

10_How long do you want to keep your laptop?

well untill it becomes so old and useless

11_What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer, Bluray ROM/Writer, Etc?

Just a regular "supermulti" or whatever they call the standard drive. If I'm correct, they can read and write CDs, DVDs, Dual Layer DVDs, etc? Blu Ray is far too expensive. How much do the 8X, 16X speeds change things? I think I normally see 8X for most laptops I think.

12_Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

i like toshibas and hp's but not dell every dell iv heard of have some sort of problem

13_What country do you live in?

Australia
