Solved! DELL Vostro 3400?

I am a 3d modeler. i understand the need of CPU power for my career but m having a limited budget at around 800$.

core i7 laptop will sit around 1200$.

I have considered the Dell Vostro 3400
@ core i5 460M 2.53Ghz
GB ram
Nvidia 310M


if there cant be a core i7 at that price, i would just wish for a core i5 with Nvidia and nice battery life.

would u recommend anything else?

There's lots of good deals waiting to be used up. Also look at the other brands besides dell and I'm sure you will find something you like within your price range. Here's a core i7 at $850:
