Solved! How can i load my hp operating system on a asus laptop

My problem is that my computer does not reconize my operating system, I get the message no operating system installed and an error of windows\system32\drivers\tmvko.sys
I have misplaced my recovery disk and was wondering if there is any way I can install my old HP xp recovery disk on my asus K50IN which has vista 32 installed but is I think corupt

The normal answer to this questions is "No".

However, Acronis has some software that may do the job:

The total cost may be nearly as much as a new OS though.
