Unfortunately your budget is low for a gaming laptop, you can find notebooks with low-end VGAs within your budget and i wouldn't recommend them for gaming.
Can your raise your budget ?

For gaming you need a better video card, which is difficult to find with your budget.

I don play a lot of games. The low-end video card like Geforce G310M is probably barely enough for your requirement.

Hi there,

As Maziar mentioned, your budget is pretty low for a gaming laptop. However, the Alienware M11x is one of the least expensive gaming laptops at $799. It should be able to handle all of your gaming needs and it is also super portable.

I wasn't aware that the games i want to play required such hardware, i thought most of them had low requirements, even for the settings i wanted to play them on.

Well it has a GT 325M which is a low-mid range card for gaming.
This Acer on is the best you can get,it has a HD 5650M which is a good mid range card and can handle those games fine on medium settings(Some on high,if you lower the resolution)

I found an hp with the same processor and video card as the Acer for cheaper, think ill consider getting that.
