is it worth it for a 7200rpm drive in the HP over the 5400 in the gateway?
and a second year manufacture warranty with the HP?
and possibly better sounding speaker with the beats audio on the HP?

found way better reviews on the gateway and not sure if the HP will spend alot of time out for warranty repairs

Solution
The only difference that you'd see between a 7200rpm and 5400rpm drive would be in regard to boot and load times, i.e. perhaps a few seconds. I'd shoot for the the Gateway, as they tend to be a bit more reliable than HP. However, if you go with the HP, I would get an extended warranty for sure.
