Solved! Acer Laptop Vs HP for Price Difference

Its been a few years since I bought a laptop. I'm wondering whether its worth the extra cost in getting a HP Laptop as compared to Acer.
I just need it for basic emailing, watch movies, downloading, burning DVD's. Cost difference $300
The only differences are as below. Everything else is very similar.

Acer Aspire AS525
Processor: AMD V 120
RAM: 3GB DDR3
Hardisk: 250GB 5400RPM SATA


HP dv6t
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-350M Dual Core processor (2.26GHz, 3MB L3 Cache)
RAM: 4GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
Hardisk: 500GB 7200RPM SATA

I need help making a decision.
Any input is appreciated

Spec wise, I'd say the difference is worth it. The HP's i3 CPU will probably last you longer in terms of performance for future programs and such, not to mention the "zippier" hard drive. Just keep in mind that HP laptops aren't all that reliable, so if you can afford it, invest in an extended warranty.
