Acer Aspire one ZG5

My acer aspire does not power on now after a failed BIOS update or wrong BIOS.
When I remove the battery and plug in the mains cable one orange light swithches on for a fraction of a second.
The power button will not power on any of the lights or anything.
Its 3 months old I contacted acer and they said BIOS updates are not covered by Warrenty,and that it will cost me £70 plus vat to repair it.
I have tried different things to try and fix it,holdng in the power button for 30 seconds,removing the battery.
Has anyone had this problem or knows how to repair this problem.

I have never come accross a laptop that lost all power after a failed bios Update.

Please HELP....
