Solved! XPS M140 CD/DVD Drive Issue

Hello,
I have a Dell XPS M140 laptop. It reads both CDs and DVDs but it will not copy data (e.g. photos) onto blank DVDs (DVD-R, DVD-RW), only CDs. Is this function not possible on this laptop; do I have to buy a new driver?

Yes, as upendra asked, do you have the correct software installed or are you trying to do it via Windows? If the software isn't the issue, i'd recommend updating the drive's firmware via dell's support site to see if that does anything.
