Looking for sub-$600 laptop in Boston stores.

I live in Europe. A friend of mine is about to travel to Boston and I want her to bring me a new laptop to replace my soon-to-have-both-hinges-broken Presario v5000/Sempron.

I have tried to look around some pages, but she'll be shopping around and not e-buying. I know prices can vary a huge lot between both methods of purchasing, so I've given up looking that way.

My budget is 600 dollars. My main concerns are that it must have decent graphics (ATI or NVidia) and a good processor (i3/i5). Brand doesn't matter much to me. I prefer a 15-incher. Of course 2gb RAM or more are mandatory. A 250 GB HD can do the job for me (my wife, to be precise).

What would you recommend?

They have something very similiar if not the same as this in the best buy store near me. I assume there is a store in boston.
