Keyboard compatibility for Asus laptops

Hello everybody

I am looking into buying an Asus N82JV from Germany (http/www.amazon.de/ASUS-Computer-35-6cm-Asus-N82JV-VX020V/dp/B003G6X930/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=ce-de&qid=1280413701&sr=8-1), but the problem is that it comes with a german keyboard.

I've been looking for an english keyboard for this type but i cant find it anywhere, probably because of the short time this model has been on the market.

However i found a keyboard that looks exactly the same and is for the Asus UL30 model, and is sold from amazon.co.uk. (http/www.amazon.co.uk/UL30VT-Replacement-Laptop-Keyboard-KEY257/dp/B003VFO21O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1280413629&sr=8-1)

My question is, will this keyboard work with the Asus N82JV bought in germany?

Can you get the S/N off of your keyboard. i'm guessing here but i'll bet
the only thing that changes in the number are some letters such as US etc...
I'll bet an older keyboard is the same.
