PC: Swaping speakers front left with front right in a 5.1 setup

Hello,

I would like to swap the front right (control) speaker with my front left. Basically I want to do this because the front right speaker cable is much shorter then the front left and I can barely put it in my front right position. The problem is I can't do it mechanically because the front right speaker is the control and it has a different plug. I couldn't find an option do do this in Realtek HD audio manager. Any suggestions?

stand on your head to reverse left and right, or mount the speakers upside down. No, wait a second...
The manufacturer may have an extender cable. Contact the manufacturer.
Reversing left right:
This has always been a problem with computer audio, and so is the left / right balance control (there isn't any).
