I want to update by a26 bios files to a32. Reason is that I like to increase my memonry to 1 gig. Do I need to backup the A26 file just in case something goes wrong when I try to re-boot?

You should always back up, but the bigger question here is what model is your computer? You really shouldn't load bios software that is not designed for your computer/motherboard set up. Doing so can ruin your system. If it is compatible I would make sure your have a back up of the bios before you try to load a new setup.

Thanks for the info. I researched my laptop's system information and my bios upgrade worked well and I did install my new memory. Everything a ok.
