Hi all

I have an Easynote SW51-B-012 which has just stopped working after about 3 years.

I put it away in a drawer for a few days and when I removed it it would not start. The power adapter is lit and plugged in and the on-off button lights up when pressed, but here is no noise from the machine and it switches off after a couple of seconds with the battery in and after about half a second with the battery out.

Could this just be the hard drive has died and if so can it be replaced? Nothing shows on the screen and it does not get as far as booting.

Or do I need a new laptop?

thanks for any suggestions/help

If the hard drive had failed the machine would at least show a boot-up screen and then probably complain that there was no operating system.

Take it to a repair guy.
