Mic problem on Vista, Fujitsu-Siemens comp (Amilo)

Hello,
Any suggestions are welcome regarding the functioning of the Mic on Vista. I can`t seem to be able to use skype or any other messenger with voice. My speakers work fine, I can hear the others but the others don`t hear me. I`ve tried adjusting the settings, control panel, sound, set defaul mic...didn`t work. i`ve balaced it, disabled enabled etc

How long have you had the laptop and did it come with the problem or not?

Try re-installing the audio drivers, you can find the most up-to-date drivers on the Fujitsu website.
