Can i overclock a dell inspiron 1564 i3 core

ive pent the last 24 hours raiding every forum download all advised software and i'm starting to lose my mind. kind of established i cant get the llp for this and even when you access system setup on start up theres nothing to alter.

please help

It's hard to overclock a mobile processor for two reasons: 1. You're locked out of doing so due to the BIOS (especially on a Dell) and it's likely the motherboard doesn't support it. 2. Even if you could, you'll fry the chip due to lack of cooling. If you want to OC something, build a desktop.
