Skype picks up my computer sounds/ouput?

Whenever I am on skype and I am talking to someone but also want to play a game, they can always hear my game music as well as my voice? E.g. if I watch a youtube video they can hear it as clearly as I can through my headset (TurtleBeach x11). I have been through tons of settings and cant find anything. I don't use a sound card, everything comes out of the audio jack from the motherboard. Any solutions?

I have exactly the same problem, when I plug my headset into the back panel of the motherboard, it works fine. But when I plug the headset into the front panel, it's literally as if my friends are wearing my headphones they can hear it that clearly.

This is a pain in the ass in Dayz where even they can hear the footsteps of my character on extremely low volume.

I need to sort of plug it into the front panel because the cable isn't long enough to reach the back! (Argos Value Headset ftw).

A known issue if if "Stereo Mix" is enabled in the sounds control panel, but mines disabled.
