Streaming music from my PC to my TV

Hi,

I have a Samsung UE32C4000PW and would like to find a way to stream music from my PC.

It has a "PC AUDIO IN" jack, but I wanted to ask if there is perhaps a better solution than having to drag a cable across the room.

Is there perhaps some sort of receiver that audio can be streamed to wirelessly, etc.?

Yes, you can use a device like a Western Digital, or Sony Streaming Device. Both use wifi, and you connec them to your television!

If you have an Android phone, you can just hook the phone to the wifi network (infrastructure or ad-hoc) to access your shared music and play the music with the phone. The only cable will be between your phone's audio out to the TV's audio in.

You need a cable like this:

Not saying fruit brand, Nokia or Window phone won't work. It's just that I am not sure how to set it up.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Too bad I already bought the cables to connect the PC to the TV... Maybe I'll try to return them.
