MicroLab B77 - question about AUX

Hi guys,

I want to buy the MicroLab B77 speakers but I noticed a weird thing about them.
They have an AUX input but no switch

Meaning you can hear both devices at the same time.
I have never seen an AUX input but not switch.

1. Basically I need to turn off the other device or mute it right?
2. Will this hurt the quality of sound?
