HP dv6-1375dx Windows 7--screen goes black after a while

Hello,
I just bought a new HP dv6-1375dx with Windows 7. After hours of fine use the scree goes black. I can still see that my windows and mouse are up, but the screen is black. Nothing seems to make it brighten back up besides pressing the power button to make it sleep for a moment and then wake it up. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

get a refund and buy another brand like toshiba
hp have defective graphic chip and the problem occurs from overuse and heating up
