Hi all,

I need help to decide which notebook to buy. My choice is between

1) Compaq CQ62-106TU -- i5 -430M/4 GB DDR3/500 Gb 7200 RPM/Intel HD Graphics --- Price INR. 39,500.00 ($ 878)

2) Acer Aspire 5740G -- i5 -430M /4 GB DDR3/500 Gb 5400 RPM/ 1 GB ATI 5650 or 5470 --- Price INR. 42,000.00 ($ 934)

One has 7200 RPM HDD and integrated HD graphics and the other has 5400 RPM HDD and 1 GB dedicated graphics.

My main use would be heavy Photoshop CS5 with multiple layers + coreldraw/Illustrator simultaneously. Then multimedia including viewing HD AVC/VC1 through HDMI and occasional games.

Any advise will be appreciated.

I'd shoot for the dedicated graphics when using Photoshop. I don't think that you'll be too constrained by the 5400 rpm hard drive.
