Solved! Resetting IBM Think Pad to factory settings

Can anyone tell me how to reset my IBM Think Pad laptop to factory settings? It is partitioned with Windows XP and Windows 2000 Professional! I have no type of cd!

hopefully you haven't deleted the recovery partition. if the laptop has a blue "think vantage" button, you should press that during bootup. if the recovery partition is still there, you will be able to access a linux-based recovery OS.
