Vaio keeps crashing

Hi, ive had my vaio fz for a couple of years now with no problems, but a few hours ago it randomly switched off, but it looked like it was just the screen that switched off, the fan, and lights were still on. After restarting it there were vertical lines everywhere on start up and it gave the option of system repair, which i did, after this it looked like it was running fine i logged in but before it got to the desktop the screen went blank again and the lines came back on start up. ive done this a few times with no luck. safe mode does still work however. i have no idea whats up with it, can anyone help?

Sounds like you've a GPU problem. What graphics chip do you have?

Generally this issue is fixed with a reflow.
