Should it make much of a difference to connect my Samsung 32" LED HDTV to my computer with an HDMI cable vs a VGA cable? The HDMI cable is a bit longer but I hardly feel like that would make a difference.

I was testing a game running the HDMI vs VGA and maybe it was just my eyes playing tricks but it felt a bit like the VGA looked better. HDMI cables can get interference a bit right?

Thanks for any help! :)

Stick with the HDMI cable. HDMI is digital, whereas, VGA is an analog signal. Digital will always win most of the time. I've come across the same problem with VGA looking better on some monitors. But HDMI is better connection all in all.

As you are connecting PC to your HDTV you surely going to play HD content form PC (720p or 1080i).Using VGA cable you may not get true rendering of HD content. If you Samsung is smart one you can also use your PC as media server if you have lots of vids store in PC.
