Hdmi lead

I want to connect an hd digibox to my digital tv. Is an hdmi lesd the same as an hd lead?

There are two possible HD leads. One is HDMI which is the better one and also has audio. The other is component video and has 3 RCA terminated video cables. They are colored red, green, and blue but are not the same as RGB. You will need an additional pair of left/right audio cables if you you use this type of connection. Component is not hd on newer bluray players.
