Solved! Connecting Laptop to TV via S-Video

Hey community.

I hope this is the appropriate section for this thread, but here's my situation.

I've got an old HP Pavilion dv2000 with a stock video adapter that I want to hook up to my Panasonic Plasma. There are S-Video ports on both the laptop and the TV, but when I hook them up, nothing happens. Laptop runs normally, no output on the big screen.

Laptop is running 7. What's the problem?

Try pressing fn+f5. That should send the signal to the TV if everything is working properly.
