Acer 5720z problem

Hello,
i have an acer 5720z with a cracked lcd, i tried hooking it up to my lcd tv but it will only show me the windows boot logo and the acer boot logo ad then the lcd tv goes blank and the lcd on the laptop goes back on but since itscracked, i cant see anything. can some one help me out?

h failed to mention that the system came with windows vista originally, i was able to downgrade it to xp before i messed up the screen. so now i can see anything on the screen like literally, any reply would be very much appreciated. thanks im hoping for a reply soon thanks again.
