Can I change a Core2 duo T6600 with an i3 330 in a Hp laptop? I mean is it possible to change the CPU-s in my laptop?

No; the motherboards and CPU pins are different.

No; Different socket, motherboard and cpu/motherboard architecture.
C2D T6600 on top and Core i3 330M below.

Now that I see the processors I understand! Big difference. Very sorry I bought the C2D T6600 instead of i 330 M. I don't do much processing with my computer but I could've had a newer better processor at the same price.

Another thing. Although my laptop is new I hear a scratching sound from the hard drive. The other one I had didn't have this sound. Curiously, the sound sometimes ceases( I mean the hdd works and there is no sound, not in idle mode for the hdd). What's wrong?
