White dots on mitsubishi 60 inch tv screen

What is causing white dots on the screen?

Guessing the set is a DLP. That is most likely stuck mirrors on the DMD (DLP) chip itself.

i am very displeased with mitsubishi, they know about this problem and have not recalled those sets that are bad, it is their responsibility to replace these parts not ours, my tv is only 3 ears old

I am having the same problem with tv and its only 3 yrs old. I was told by a repair shop that Mitsubishi was assisting with the repair for this. I am not sure to what extent but here is the number I recieved. 18003322119
