I would go with the studio15, you get much more for money. Alienware systems you're paying for the look and feel. I prefer to have high-performance.

Good luck.

with the Studio15 can it run every current game at max?

With an HD 4570? I think you might be asking a bit much. Will it run current titles? Yes, but not on max settings. Probably closer to medium for most games. The GT 335M in the Alienware is a little bit faster than the upgraded option of the 4570 in the Studio 15. However, I personally would not want to game or watch movies on an 11'' screen.

Are you open to other options? And if so, how much do you want to spend?

Find the HD 4570 and GT 335M here and see for yourself: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html

Im very set on Dell because of the financing options, but if NewEgg or TigerDirect had a much better option for a cheaper price I'd be open to looking at it.

Which will be able to run games/movies better the Studio15 or the M11x, considering the M11X has a *** CPU and the Studio15 has a core 7x.

Your link isn't working for me. Is it this one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung...lack/9728443.p?id=1218161511080&skuId=9728443

If that's the one, it would be right up there in terms of gaming performance with the Alienware.

If you want to rate the systems based on gaming it would look like Alienware M11x = Samsung R780 > Dell Studio.

The Alienware does have a weaker CPU, but most games depend more on the graphics card than they do the processor. However, I think the i5 in the Samsung would make up for the very slight difference in graphics cards.

The Alienware won't be bad for gaming, don't get me wrong. I just wouldn't want to be confined to the 11 inch screen to watch movies and play games.

This Acer is worth looking at: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834115733

lol, that's a complete turn around from looking at Dell :D

Anyway, I think you'll be happy with that choice. Performance will be much better than either the M11x or the Studio. Have fun with your purchase!
