Help installing software on a netbook...without a disc drive!

Hello,
I need to install a program onto my netbook - but it doesn't have a CD/DVD drive. I do have one on the desktop PC though. Is there a way I can connect the two machines so that I can use the PC disc drive to install the programs onto the netbook? I have a wireless router... and lots of cables! )

Make the disc into a .iso, then save it to a usb drive, and put it in the netbook and download dameon tools to the netbook ,and use the virtual drive to load the .iso.
