How to connect hdmi laptop to home theatre system

i want to hear songs from my laptop( dell 15 ) to my home theatre system ( panasonic ) through (HDMI) cable ?/??? .......
how can i do that ///??????????

Plug an HDMI cable from your laptop to your HTIB.

Assuming your Panasonic Home Theater System is connected to an HDTV, you should be able to connect your laptop to the Home Theater via HDMI and then extend or clone your laptop's desktop to the HDTV. Video (your laptop's desktop) will display on the HDTV and the audio will play through your Home Theater System.

If that doesn't work, then you should still be able to connect your laptop to your Home Theater System using an analog connection. Your laptop should have an audio output for headphones. Use a simple 3.5mm stereo to RCA Red/White audio cable to connect the two.
