I'd recommend just leasing one from Comcast. Anything that you purchase must still be activated by Comcast. If they refuse (for whatever reason), you just bought a paperweight.

Thank You for that response I thought you had to buy one did not know Comcast leased the adapters and you had to get permission to even hook one up I've seen on Ebay for easy self instalation ones. I just thought when you attached to Tv you get right into comcast.
Now before comcast stopped alowing someone like me who just hooked up their paid for comcast line onto a double out line connection to my older style tv so I could watch in another area
