KV-34XBR960 television - light blinks 6 times

stanby light has Six blinks pause then repeats - No Horizontal (H STOP), no raster, goes to the blinking self-diagnosis function immediately. Check C515 & 516 and the jungle IC, IC206.

My local authorized repair facility said that parts required to fix are no longer available. Is this true?

This is entirely true that parts aren't available locally. if you know the part number, you could possibly order it from sony directly. Though, sadly, A lot of shops will not install it unless they supply it.
