Hey everyone,

so i came to an issue,

I have connected my PC via VGA cable to HDTV (LG, sorry dont know exact model) wich is capable of playing 1080p. And when i play movies on the TV set at 1920x1080 resolution via PC the playback is a little bit chopy, not always but it gets for a second or two every 30 seconds or so.

I am confused what can be the problem, beause when i play video files on my monitor screen (Phillips Brilliance 220SW) at 1680x1050 playback is just fine and smooth. My PC CPU is Qore 2 Quad Q9400 and GPU is Sapphire Radeon HD5750 (1GB Ram, so it should be more then enough to be capable playing High-Resolution video files).

Any ideas?

Sounds like more of a computer hardware/software issue. Double check you have the newest ATI driver for your card. Try a different software playback package, like VLC for video playback. Unless the set has some sort of stutter on other sources, it has to be at the PC level.
