I'm thinking of getting a 3 to 4 MP Digital Camera and Canon's IXUS series seems like a good choice.

My question is there is so many IXUS cameras that I don't know which one is the best? I am looking at the IXUS 430, IXUS II and IXUS i.

Do any of your guys know which is 'better' than the other or any known defects? I would really appreciate any kind of comments and opinions =)

(BTW: that's a Powershot S400 in North America).

They are nice cameras. You pay a little more for the compact size. If you don't mind a slightly bigger camera then have a look at the A80.

*Dual PIII-800 @900 i440BX and Tualeron 1.2 @1.7 i815*

I loved my S330 (2 Mp). I sold it yesterday and i'm probably going to buy a S410 to replace it. I like that i can put it in my pocket, and i thought it took great pictures. The S410 is slightly smaller, which is nice.

I too had a similar problem in selecting digital camera, but i went for ixus 430...and man, its worth every penny, the good thing is that it packs all the punch that a good camera can offer in a compact box, its really good camera money can buy.

Don't go for anything below ixus 430 the i and ii series are old, and its not worth going for them.

I'll recommend you to go for CANON DIGITAL IXUS 430, its the best bet
