Solved! Laptop keyboard-hit 2 keys at once or words disappear

I have a Toshiba L305. With former Vista and now Windows 7, my keyboard doesn't keep up with my rate of speed while typing. OR, as I'm typing, all of a sudden I'm on another line in the middle of another word, AND words disappear and I don't know how to undo that or retrieve them. HELP.

It could be your trackpad. Did you try disabling it while typing?
Also if you type in Word or other editors there is usually an UNDO action (usually Ctrl+Z).
