Any problem with 8 ohms amp runs 4ohms speakers

Hi Sirs,

I have a Pioneer Elite SC-27 receiver with 140W/channel rated 8 ohms. I wish to purchase 4 Martin Logan Motion 2 & 4 speakers. However, there speakers are listed :

Motion 2, with 50W rated 4 ohms.
Motion 4, with 75W rated 4 ohms.

On their specification, it said that both speakers are compatible for 8 ohms receiver. ( Does that mean it is safe for my receiver wit 8 ohms ? )

So, will it do any damage to the receiver or speakers ?

Yes they work fine .. I am using motion 4s for my surrounds and they are great
