Where is the cheapest site to buy compact flash memory for my CANON a60? I am looking for 64 mb and above. Can I use anyones compact flash memory card or must I buy the compact flash from CANON? Do they ever fail?
Thanks.

You could try your luck in http://www.pricewatch.com. 64MB and above are available, just remember to get Type-I cards. Also, stay far far away from AIB, aka Alpha International Business Inc, at *all* costs.

And as usual, please check the dealer's ratings from these sites before buying:

You can use Flash from other brands yes, for example, I use Kingston 256MB on my A70. I'm not sure if they ever fail, but if they do, it's best if your memory also come with warranty.

I was about to get myself a Sandisk card, but the price was a touch above Kingston. And in addition, it only had I think 1 year warranty, compared to Kingstons' 5 year warranty.

CF cards will fail eventually.
