Bad sound quality- help!

Hello,
i just got a new laptop and on the first time using windows media player one of my cd's played very crackly and the vocals were almost inaudible, however the cd before it played fine and the ones i tried after were fine too. the cd is new and in works in my cd player but when i put it on my mp3 player its the same quality as the computer. any ideas?

Just because it looks new,it very well may not be,and requires refund or replacement. I've bought brand new things that didn't work.Take it back..
