Solved! Lg tv opening screen

I have an LG 55LW6500 that shows a series of dashes on the opening image that appears to really be the local time of the day. There is nothing in the manual that indicates how to do this.

I have an LG 55LW6500 that shows a series of dashes on the opening image that appears to really be the local time of the day. There is nothing in the manual that indicates how to do this.

It's really quite simple. Click on HOME > settings > Time > and instead of using "auto" set the time manually, then exit.
The next time you turn on the TV the current time will show on the opening screen.
