So, I would like to play games like Crysis at high to ultra high setting with minimum to no lag, also games like COD6 etc...
I also need this for travel, just wondering who has the better battery life (not a big factor)
I need this for schoolwork and buisness work...
Finally I also need this for movies, music, video editing, and photo editing

So, which one should I get? Or recommend me another laptop (try to keep under 1600 dollars)

Thanks

Toshiba will have better gaming performance, and battery will be around bout the same, toshiba uses alot more juice, but has a 12 cell battery, alienware only has 6 cell.
Only place where alienware wins is the screen, full hd 1080p as opposed to 1680x945 on the toshiba, the rest is even or in favour of the toshiba

Great thanks, how will the Toshiba run a game like Crysis? I say Crysis for I know it's a pretty graphics demanding game.
Could I also get close to maxing out settings on COD6?

how much are you gonna spend for the laptop?
xoticpc.com
has great gaming laptops and great customer service!
i like to go with MSI or Sager just because they are easy to open up usually takes 2 screws and you find the heatsink cpu and gpu and ram to clean your comp and put thermal paste unlike the many toshibas, dells, hp and acers i have opened up takes a while and i have to remember where the screws are. just letting you know.

Lookin to spend 1600 or under

And, if I overclock the processor it can go up to around 2.8 GHZ i believe, that should be fine for COD and Left for Dead im assuming?
