Xbox 360 HDMI to DVI?

Hello, I recently purchased a Hitachi Ultravision 55'' projection TV. The TV only accepts DVi as its source of HD while the xbox gives off an HD signal in the form of HDMI. I bought an HDMI to DVI adapter which works fine. The problem is when I plug the HDMI wire from my xbox to the HDMI to DVI adapter there is no sound. I knew DVI did not carry sound so I decided to just plug in the white and red composite cables from the xbox into the back of the tv to get audio. The problem is I cannot plug both the HDMI cable and HUGE xbox 360 composite plug in the xbox at the same time. The composite cable is massive, thus preventing me from plugging in the HDMI cable. So how do I go about getting my xbox to project HD video to DVI AND audio via composite? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
